DOG WALKER/PET SITTER INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in a position with Doggie Pawpins Professional Care and Play pet sitting service!  Our pet sitters are reliable, dependable, trustworthy, caring and are able to see a project through to completion. Our clientele rely on us to care for their pets and home while they are away and we will only work with serious pet sitters who will uphold our standards and reputation.

If you absolutely LOVE animals, desire to spend time with them, and want to make some extra money in the process, this is the job for you. If you can’t commit to six months, are anticipating a move out of the area, or will be seeking a full-time job soon, this is NOT the job for you. This job is best suited for students, retirees, at-home moms with kids in school, and people with extra time during the day.  If you are interested in summer-only pet sitting (during late June through Labor Day), you are also welcome to apply.

Doggie Pawpins currently provides the following types of service:

1.  Mid-day dog walking: one visit in the middle of the day, Monday through Friday, to visit and walk dogs while their owners are at work. Walks times are 10:30AM-3:30PM;
   
   
2. Vacation pet sitting: We visit the client’s home several times daily to walk and feed their pets (cats are visited 1-2 times/day; dogs are visited 2-3 times/day);
   
   
3. Overnight stays, an extension of vacation pet sitting. We stay overnight in the client’s home with pets whose owners prefer they are not alone overnight.

When a new vacation client calls, we decide which sitter would be most appropriate for the job, and will call to offer it to you. If you accept, you will become their sitter, and will be called each time they rebook. With mid-day clients, we will keep you in as close a radius as possible, and you will visit the same clients in your route, Monday through Friday.
